Vertigo is a condition in which a person feels as if they are going to faint or vomit when they stand up. It can be caused by spinning at high speeds, falling, or the disorientation that comes with being upside down.
This replica of a suspension bridge was designed and built by students at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. They wanted to create a visually stunning piece that would allow people to experience vertigo for themselves.
It is mostly used for educational purposes, but it has also been used in films and commercials as well.
