Dust it. Do not soak.

A soft dry cloth is enough for the milk glass and the metal, which is how this finish stays easy to live with. Please do not soak the ribbed shade, and do not put it in a dishwasher.

Skip harsh cleaners.

Dry the plate after any wipe with a barely damp cloth. Bleach, alcohol, and abrasive pads do not go on the ribs or the brass finish.

Switch off before cleaning.

Turn the power off first. This is a dry-rated fixture, so keep water away from the socket, plate, and leads. That dry wall connection is what lets the beaded brass and ribbed shade belong beside a bed.
