Brass-finish sconces above a wood console in daylight
The same entry console with the cones glowing at evening

Wall light

Drawn flowers opening into a warm glow

Steel holds sharp floral lines in daylight. Night sends light out of the open cone and warms the wall with the brass finish.

  • Sharp by day
  • Warm after dark
  • Aim the cone

Close details

Details that deserve a closer look

Same warm brass: etched flowers, a cone that turns, a low plate. The metalwork stays quiet until the light is on.

Close view of the floral etching on the steel cone
Flowers drawn in steel Flower and leaf lines are etched into the metal. They stay crisp in daylight, and take on a richer cast once the lamp is lit.
Close view of the brass-finish swivel and thumbscrew
Set the glow Turn the cone toward a mirror, a chair, or the wall. The thumbscrew holds the angle, so the light stays where you placed it.
Close view of the round brass-finish wall plate
A low, quiet plate The round plate finishes in the same brushed brass and sits close to the wall, leaving the flowers as the thing you notice.

Design highlights

A warmer evening with a finer line

The brass finish is why the glow stays soft. The open cone lights. The etching gives the wall a view with the lamp still off.

  • Floral lines follow the curve, so the drawing reads clearly from across the room. The floral lines still read as a drawing from across the room.
  • Floral lines are etched into a steel cone with a brass finish.
  • Lifted just off the wall, the cone gives the light room to fall. That small gap is why the cone lights the wall instead of sealing against it.

In the room

Three ways with a quiet presence

Living chair, marble vanity, or bedside. Flowers stay clear in daylight. After dark the open cone warms the corner.

Styled together

Carry the brass line upward

Centre of the room, then back to the wall: etched flowers repeat if the ceiling cone matches.

  • The same floral etching and warm brass, from the wall to the ceiling.
  • Light still spills from the open cone. The flowers stay drawn in the metal. Switch it on, and the drawn flowers stay visible in the spilled light.
  • Over a sofa or beside a picture, the ceiling cone finishes the view above.
