A flowerpot lamp is a lamp that is made of a flowerpot. The pot can be either a clay pot or an old terracotta pot. In most cases, the inside of the pot will have been painted with enamel paint and then coated with clear varnish to protect it from moisture.

The idea of using flowerpots as lamps goes back to at least the 1800s when they were used as street lamps.
