Gilt ivory and black leopard wall bells hung together

Design notes

A call bell, recast.

The form comes from the old service bell used in hotels and grand houses. Rebuilt as baroque wall ornament, the joke stays: press, and the call is for champagne.

The scroll is theatrical relief, made to read as carving. Black keeps that court frame, then breaks it with a cream leopard ring and a gloss black dome.

In the room

Hung where a bell belongs.

Dining, a green wall, a hall, an evening bar, the champagne corner, and home decor.
